Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy governs the cancellation of services engaged from Homeland Defense League LLC ("HDL"). By engaging HDL's services, you ("Client") agree to the terms herein.
1. Cancellation Before Work Begins
If the Client cancels a project before HDL has commenced work, a full refund shall be issued minus an administrative fee of fifteen percent (15%) of the total project fee. The administrative fee covers project setup, scheduling, and resource allocation costs.
2. Cancellation After Work Begins
If the Client cancels after work has commenced but before delivery of the final product, the Client shall be responsible for payment for all work performed to date. Work performed shall be billed at a pro-rata rate based on the estimated percentage of completion at the time of cancellation.
3. Cancellation After Delivery
No refund shall be issued for cancellation after delivery of the completed work product. Please refer to our Refund & Dispute Policy for further details.
4. Written Notice Required
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected]. Verbal cancellation requests will not be honored. The effective date of cancellation shall be the date on which HDL receives the written notice.
5. Retainer Agreements
For ongoing retainer engagements, the Client must provide thirty (30) days' written notice of cancellation. Work performed during the notice period shall be billed in accordance with the retainer agreement. Any unused retainer balance shall be refunded, less any outstanding charges for work performed.
6. HDL's Right to Cancel
HDL reserves the right to cancel any project and issue a full or partial refund if, in HDL's sole determination, the project cannot be completed due to circumstances beyond HDL's reasonable control, including but not limited to: unavailability of source materials, legal restrictions, or conflicts of interest.
7. Governing Law
This Policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. Any disputes shall be resolved in Autauga County, Alabama.
